Classes

Identity

The Elementalist commands the classical forces of fire, water, earth, and air, shaping them into both destructive magic and living servants. Their power is rooted in direct elemental expression rather than arcane theory, setting them apart from casters who rely on abstract schools or non‑elemental disciplines. Their magic is forceful, focused, and tied closely to the nature of the element they choose to wield.

Their elemental servant is the centerpiece of their craft: a manifestation of raw elemental power that fights beside them and responds to their guidance. The Elementalist blends their own spellcasting with the actions of this companion, layering effects, amplifying weaknesses, and creating combinations that reflect the strengths of each element.

They’re comfortable fighting alone, relying on their servant to hold the front line while they strike from afar. Their bond with elemental forces grants them resistance to the elements they command, and their deep study of elemental behavior produces practical expressions of their mastery.

What’s Changing

The Elementalist's core is staying intact. The update is about tightening the theme and adding depth where the class currently runs thin.

Direct damage is getting more variety, as each element currently only has one spell line. Elemental servants are also getting more to do, with deeper interactions between pet abilities and the Elementalist's own spells. On the conjuration side, generic utility items like food and bandages are being replaced with elemental-themed equivalents that better fit the theme.

More:

  • Elemental servant interactions and spell-and-pet synergy

  • Elemental-themed conjurations

  • Variety in direct-damage spells across all four elements

Less:

  • Generic convenience conjurations

  • Spells that don't fit the elemental theme
