Update 09: Niche Worlds Cult

It's official: we’ve formalized the company!

Niche Worlds Cult is now a thing, and next up we’re looking forward to being able to reveal the real name of Project_N.

It's similarly fun!

Origins of the Name

When the idea of creating a game was being discussed with our Twitch community, they made the joke: "Why start a company, when you can start a cult?"

We've taken this tongue-in-cheek suggestion and run with it.

The "Niche Worlds Cult" name embodies who we are and what we do.

We're focused on making niche or even hyper-niche online experiences, which place an emphasis on creating a sense of place, while maintaining a constant dialogue with our community during the process.

Our tiny team is under no illusions that this is an easy endeavor, but we're enjoying the process, love our community, and take the opportunities we have before us very seriously.

Despite the silly name.
